identity and trade name upgrade.

January 2, 2002 - TruColor Video Systems, Inc. leading manufacture and world-wide
supplier of printed web inspection systems since 1992 is pleased to announce a
slight corporate name upgrade (change). The new corporate name change will be
effective January 2, 2002:

Introducing: TruColor Vision Systems, Inc.

“Machine Vision” has been defined as “…the automatic interpretation of images of real scenes in order to obtain information and thereby to control or monitor machines or processes…”

According to a TruColor spokesman: “Since our beginnings in 1992, TruColor Video Systems, Inc. has become recognized as a worldwide leader in printed web inspection systems. With the introduction of TruColor’s new model TG 4000 Series system capable of Full-Time Automatic Register Control (and with future upgrades to automatic flaw detection) we felt the time was right to make a name change that more closely reflects the direction in which our product range is migrating. While the name change is not dramatic, it is simply more of an upgrade and more encompassing of our new product range. The company believes by upgrading “Video” to “Vision” the new company identity better describes TruColor’s current engineering and manufacturing capabilities. Same logo, same company, same people, just new and exciting inspection solutions.”
